Your responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at ZEISS Digital Innovation, you will contribute your in-depth expertise in the design and implementation of CI/CD infrastructures and the operation of business-critical cloud solutions. You will thus play a key role in our agile custom software development projects.

Your tasks will include:

  • Independently developing the cloud infrastructure required for the software solutions using infrastructure-as-code
  • Independently designing, creating and maintaining scripts and development tools such as continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Responsibility for the secure operation of the solution you have designed
  • Administration of Azure environments, servers (Windows, Linux), databases, monitoring and log analysis

 

Your profile

Are you familiar with cloud, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps and continuous integration/delivery? Then our team looks forward to hearing from you!

You also have the following profile:

  • In-depth experience in software development projects in an agile environment, including service management
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (especially Azure Kubernetes Service, Application Insights, Azure Monitor & Azure Policies)
  • Extensive expertise in monitoring, logging, alerting and other areas of application operations
  • In-depth knowledge of designing continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines with Azure DevOps
  • Comprehensive knowledge of working with common infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform/ARM on Azure
  • Very good language skills (spoken and written) and communication skills at C1 or C2 level in German and English
