Team Lead Technical Consultant (m/f/d) - DecompileD Conference 2026

As Team Lead Technical Consultant, you will primarily support your customers in the operation, but also in the further development and introduction of complex software and system architectures. In doing so, you will always strive to automate tasks and design innovative solutions. In addition to your in-depth technical expertise, you will take on the disciplinary and technical leadership of a team, develop your employees in a targeted manner and create an environment in which quality, personal responsibility and innovation can flourish. You will actively help to design technical solutions, make informed decisions and combine people leadership with a hands-on mentality. You will enjoy a high degree of freedom in decision-making – both technically and organisationally – in order to balance customer needs, team interests and innovation requirements.

Your responsibilities

For our external and internal customers, you are THE person who knows how to master technology
Working closely with customers and your team, you develop concepts and solutions that convince everyone equally
You take responsibility for the operation, (further) development and implementation of complex software and system architectures in diverse application landscapes and development environments
Together with the team, you will further develop our SaaS solutions and bring these innovations to our customers’ IaaS, PaaS or on-premise-based systems
You will implement solutions for system landscapes based on Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo or other Java software
You are open to new ideas and enjoy helping to develop and shape future tasks
You follow current developments in the industry and use your keen sense for trends to help shape change processes and share new insights with the team
And how do you work? Very flexibly – you work from home, at your Communardo location or occasionally at the customer’s site
As a team lead, you have disciplinary management responsibility:
You lead, develop and coach your team
You accompany target agreements, feedback and development discussions

Your profile

Are Apache, Single Sign On, Grafana and PostgreSQL familiar terms to you, rather than foreign concepts, and do they accompany and motivate you in your daily work?
Let’s continue with your everyday toolbox: web servers (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, Nginx), authentication (SSO, MFA, SAML), databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, MSSQL) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Icinga, etc.).
And finally, the last technical terms: configuration management (Ansible), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud (AWS, Azure) are technical topics that appeal to you and give you pleasure.
You are absolutely proficient in analysing log files and coordinating the next steps based on the analysis results.
Ideally, you would like to automate all tedious routine tasks so that you can focus on more exciting topics
You are enthusiastic about diverse platforms and system architectures in an increasingly dynamic environment
Perhaps you already have LPIC certification or would like to obtain it in the near future?
Experience with Atlassian systems would be an advantage, but we are also happy if you are keen to learn more about them.
You have some initial management experience.
