We know conferences have an environmental footprint – from travel to catering to printed materials. At DecompileD, we’re committed to making our event as sustainable as possible. 

What we do 

• Venue & travel: Central location in Dresden, easy public transport access. Encouragement for public transport. 

• Catering: Regional suppliers, vegetarian & vegan options, reduced food waste. 

• Materials & merchandise: Minimal single-use items, focus on useful items rather than mass-produced swag. 

• Print & communication: Only essential print materials. 

Digital first 

• We are digital and do not use printed tickets. 

• Online agenda & app instead of printed booklets 

Community matters 

Sustainability is a joint effort. We encourage participants to: 

• Travel climate-friendly (train, bike, carpool, public transport) 

• Reduce waste on-site 

Always improving
